Then I added all the details and changed the light colour from red to a golden yellow.
Creating more contrast, here it's finally finished!

W.I.P 2 ~ Oscar

Here's step two, with much more shading and details. For the colors I like to use cromatic contrast. I inverted the red background to pick up the light blue I used for the pin and the eyes.

W.I.P 1 ~ Oscar

Getting addicted with Lady Oscar I starded a piece about her, trying to give her morefemininity, just to not draw always the same Oscar!I started with a lineart, then I put some colored highlights and the base colors.


Photoshop, 3 hours working, lineart + bases.

Wu Magazine + Arab Spring

E finalmente pubblico la mia prima pubblicazione su Wu Magazine! Il tema erano le rivolte avvenute in Egitto e l'importanza dell'uso dei social network nell'aggregazione della gente in piazza.

Lucca comics + Cagliostrino

E finalmente mi decido a fare questo post, dopo giorni che sono tornata dalla Lucca Comics.
Sono stata pubblicata nel volume "Pallidamente 2011", sono contentissima di averlo preso!
Grazie mille a Cagliostrino di Serena Pieruccini e a Felici Editore! E' bellissimo avere una paginetta tutta per me!

Pallidamente 2011

Dopo aver partecipato al concorso di Cagliostrino "Pallidamente 2011" una mia illustrazione è stata scelta per essere pubblicata nel volume "Pallidamente 2011" edito da Felici Editore. Il tema del concorso era l'illustrazione gotica, noir. La premiazione del concorso si terrà, come da regolamento, durante "Lucca Comics and Games 2011", presso la Sala Incontri “Giovanni Ingellis” lunedì 31 ottobre 2011 alle ore 10.40!

~# I joined Cagliostrino's contest, Pallidamente 2011, about a month ago. The theme was gothic and noir illustration. One of my illustration has been chosen to be published in the book "Pallidamente 2011" by "Felici Editore". Award day will be during "Lucca Comics and Games 2011" on monday 31 october 2011, 10.40!
